blinking light on circuit board

The light on the circuit board on my heat pump begins to blink after running for awhile and will not cool the room. I shut it down for even a few mins and restart the system and everything runs fine for awhile again before it starts acting up again. The thermostat is sending the signal to cool the room but nothing is turning over at the heat pump to start the compressor. Is it my relay/contactor, compressor, capacitor...? I'm able to fix most problems with them as I have had experience replacing parts, but this troubleshoot is nothing I have dealt with to date

Did you figure it out??

I am having similar issue...with a slow blink which isn't helpful, then eventually it will lock out.
Please tell me you figured it out and are still watching this thread! Lol

No cool air, fan blows fine, compressor kicks on for a minute but shuts right back down, then slow flash...this repeats, then lockout fast flash.
