Heat pump is producing heat/Fan outside not running

by Mark

Heat pump is producing heat in the house nicely, but the fan on the unit outside is not running.

I do not hear anything around the unit outside. I do hear the fan inside pushing air. But it is good heat. Do I need to address this issue?

It is a Rheem split pump system.

yes try reset

Yes, your back up heat is most likely running and is expensive. Look for the red reset button on your outside unit and try to push reset it.
