indoor fan continues when off

We have ran our heat the last week or so, it seems that the air coming out is cool and we have shut off the heat now because of the temperatures rising and the fan inside continues to blow air

Check to make sure that your fan high limit switch is not bad. Take an ohm meter and ohm it out. Also check fan relay and thermostat
