low voltage bad capacitor

Dropping low voltage. Unit runs when you manually engage the contactor, but capacitor indicator is bubbled. Could the capacitor cause a problem in the low voltage defrost relay within the circuit board?

No. Capacitor failure would have no affect on low voltage circuits.

I had that problem with my old heat pump unit. Capacitor indicator was bubbled. The part is not expensive - the service is!
