Purchased a 4 ton Greenspeed Infinity Heat pump with electric fan coil 2.5 yrs ago.
So far we have had to replace the failed heat pump fan motor after year one and just had to replace the failed compressor on the heat pump after it failed at 2.5 yrs, which was a major job that took 2 weeks before parts and service could be available.
So I am definitely concerned about this unit's reliability, but it performance as a heat pump to save money during the milder winter periods (not cost effective at all below -3 to -4F (it costs more to run then than straight electric furnace). But its very useful during fall/spring temps which is when it is most cost effective. Summer performance as an a/c unit is also good.
