Rheem pool/spa heat pump digital Model #: M8350TI-E serial#: W151416637 started to get cold here in Florida turned heat pump on last week everything worked fine until yesterday.
Trying to heat spa only set temp for spa @ 75 degrees. Actual water temp 49 degrees. Light comes on when heater is heating water. Feel water coming out of jets warm!/ hot! Yeah! but Then after 5 minutes light goes off. Fault code pops up. I'll hit the set button on control panel heater kicks on, light on showing water being heated, feel water outta jets warm/ hot. This continues until I get tired of going outside every 10 minutes or so. What are the fault codes? How to fix? Heat pump only year old.

FS not F5
by: Anonymous

Unit is in the defrosting cycle which means that the fan is operating but the compressor has been stopped.
A numerical digit behind the FS indicates how many times the unit has switched into this mode

Seems to start ok on either pool or spa setting and red heating light on. Then after a few minutes, the heating (red) light goes out and I get either F51, F52, F54, F55 code show up? Tried everything I can think of.
