Condensate drain
by: Ex-HVAC Instructor

Where is the drain pan cracking? The most common cause of cracking that I have seen is stress where the condensate drain pipe screws into the pan. Either stress from the weight of the drain, from the routing (under constant tension) or drain pipe is in an area where someone trips over it or bumps into it causing excess stress.
